GROK4/SUPER GROK - The Ripest Yet

Grok 4 is finally out, and it is a certified ripe AI tool. 🤯

Grok 4 offers a different experience compared to other LLMs. While it certainly does not match up to ChatGPT or Perplexity in terms of how accurate and how comprehensive its responses can be, Grok's main strength is the fact that it feels like the speaker is actually finally communicating with a real human. 🗣️

The ChatGPT vs. Grok Showdown:

• ChatGPT: Its responses are very clearly catered towards what the user wants to hear. It's very good at making the user feel good about their responses, and does a very good job overall at explaining what the user wants to do. I have never had ChatGPT argue with me unprompted; if I ever pointed out that it might be wrong, it responds, "Oh, I think you're right. Let me rethink that and we'll try again."

• Grok 4: Even when it's wrong, it will ABSOLUTELY argue with you about why it's right. 😂

For better or worse, this feels like the speaker is finally talking with a real human being, and they LOVE it for that. ❤️

Why This Matters:

Grok 4 is a step in the right direction. A large language model has been given a niche personality that is able to fight back with the users in a way that hasn't been seen before with other large language models.

To be honest—I didn't enjoy fighting with Grok, but after that conversation, I realized the importance of having a large language model that is willing to disagree at a very serious level. It pushes you to think!

Beyond the Core LLM:

On top of Grok 4's release, there have been other programs that came out with it, including "Companions" (a big spoof on character.ai) that are a fantastic add-on.

I never thought that these kind of boyfriend/girlfriend in your pocket are good as a stand-alone large language model add, nor do I think Character AI is a very good use of the technology. However, throwing them into a bigger large language model like Grok is a fantastic way to go about it. The fact that Grok is leading the ship on this is great, especially because they're able to actually have a little bit of its own character in a way that other large language models feel like pushovers sometimes.

Important Caveats (Read This!):

Grok 4 does have its weaknesses:

• It is not very good at getting accurate data about a lot of things.

• It will argue with you even if it is wrong about something.

I strongly believe its argumentative nature is fantastic, a wonderful thing that should be treasured and encouraged. However, if you are using Grok for educational uses or for some kind of research, you MUST double-triple-check the links that it's sending you because it may just send something that's not there. ⚠️

The Future is Bright:

Overall, Grok 4, Super Grok, and all of those are a fantastic add into the large language model space and the AI tools. It is a wonderful thing to add. I have also heard wonderful things about the things that it can code as well. I personally have not gotten a chance to actually test that as well as others, however, I have already seen amazing, unbelievable results that some people have been able to put forward.

I am absolutely looking forward to seeing what other people are able to do with Grok 4, and am very excited about what it has already shown me, and I look forward to seeing what they're going to come up with next. Grok 4 is an absolute certified ripe moment. 🚀
